The Challenge

PFSS provides short-term care for pets when their owner is unable to care for them due to illness, homelessness, or domestic abuse, and has no alternative care arrangement available. It's a vital, practical service — but one that many people in crisis, and many potential supporters and partners, simply don't know exists until they need it.

PFSS needed a stronger digital presence to raise awareness of their service among the people who might need it, and the wider community who might support or refer into it — alongside a way to introduce their work to a local audience beyond social media alone.

What We Did

We manage PFSS's full social media presence, creating and posting content designed to explain their service clearly and compassionately, and to reach people at the moment they might need it most.

Alongside this, we produced a dedicated introduction video for PFSS, explaining who they are and what they do — now playing on TVs across their local area, extending their reach into a local, offline audience that social media alone wouldn't capture.

Why it Works

For an organisation like PFSS, reach isn't just a marketing metric — it's the difference between someone in crisis knowing this support exists, or not. Combining consistent social media content with a local video presence has helped PFSS become significantly more visible to exactly the community they exist to serve.
