Posting on awareness days is a simple way to join bigger conversations, reach new people and give your supporters something to share. But you don't need to mark every day. Pick the ones that genuinely connect to your mission, and plan ahead so you're not scrambling on the day.
How to use this calendar
Choose 5 to 10 dates that are right for your charity, not all of them.
Start planning 4 to 6 weeks ahead, as many have official toolkits and hashtags.
Add your own story, not just a generic post. Real stories from your charity work best.
Be sensitive. For health, bereavement and mental health days, take care with tone and signpost to support where appropriate.
Dates are checked as of October 2026. Some are still to be confirmed by the organising charities, and these are marked (tbc). Religious dates depend on the moon and may shift by a day.
